This privacy policy applies to the Lochy Image Scanner app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for iOS devices, developed by Artur Kraft (the “Developer”).

1. Data Collection and Privacy

Lochy Image Scanner does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data.

All of your data, including all document scans and edits, are stored securely and locally on your device or synced directly to your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure. The Developer has no access to your files, iCloud data, or any other personal information.

2. No External Connections

The Application does not connect to any custom API, third-party server, or custom external service. Everything required for the application to function is either processed entirely on your device or provided through Apple’s native frameworks.

3. No Advertisements or Analytics

The Application does not display any advertisements and does not include any analytics or tracking software. Your usage behaviour and data are never monitored, analysed, or shared with third parties.

4. Photos and Camera Access

The Application requires access to your device’s camera to scan documents but does not request and does not have access to your photo library. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the Developer does not collect or store any of your data on external servers, there is no data to retain or delete on our end. Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you choose to keep the Application installed or retain the files. To delete all your data, you can simply delete the Application from your device and remove any associated data from your iCloud storage at any time.

6. Security

Your privacy is a top priority. Because all data is localised to your mobile device and your personal Apple ID, the security of your scans and edits is protected by Apple’s device-level encryption and iCloud security standards.
